Two contextual trends of the globe that take rise in Human Resource Management that effect organisations today are Technology and Globalization. The reasons for critically analysing these trends are to address why organisations are becoming leaner and require multiskilled employees increasingly. Technology became a global game changer with the emergence of the Information age & Globalization brought economic shifts giving rise to successes of emerging markets. Both, Technology and Globalization have changed how organizations work and Human Resource uses strategies to leverage and adjust to these changes.
